Arthur D. Gage, DDS
Upon graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry in 1991, Dr. Gage was commissioned as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. As a dental officer, Dr. Gage spent two years in eastern North Carolina, at Camp Lejeune, with the Fleet Marine Force. Once his tour of duty was complete in North Carolina, Dr. Gage traveled to Hawaii where he spent an additional two years with the marines at the Marine Corps Air Station, Kaneohe Bay. After serving nearly four years in the Navy, Dr. Gage made the decision to return to California and pursue advanced training in endodontics.
Subsequently, he entered the post-doctoral residency program in endodontics at Loma Linda University where he earned certification in 1997. Dr. Gage’s academic career is distinguished by his achievements. He was chosen as the Academy of General Dentistry’s Senior Student of the Year at UCLA and was also recognized in the Who’s Who of American Colleges and Universities during his attendance at Loma Linda University.
Maintaining his education and staying abreast of trends and techniques emerging in endodontics is a priority for Dr. Gage. As such, he attends continuing education courses throughout the year.
Because he likes to be actively involved in all levels of dentistry, Dr. Gage enjoys memberships in several local and national professional dental organizations. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, the California Dental Association, the California State Association of Endodontists, the Tri-County Dental Society and the Harbor Dental Society. In addition, Dr. Gage is a past President of the Tri-County Dental Society. He is also a Fellow of both the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists.
Dr. Gage currently serves as a Captain in the U.S. Navy as a reserve dental officer and Commanding Officer of the 4th Dental Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group in Marietta, GA.
